First of all, every single level has a secret star. Yep, every level. Collect 100 coins in a level and you'll get a special, 7th star for that level. The star will immediatly appear where your standing. I'm not going to tell you "easy way" to collect 100 coins for each level, you can figure that out on your own. I will tell you, though, you should make sure to enter the level on a star that doesn't alter the level's layout. For example, "Big Bomb-omb on the Summit" at "Bomb-omb Battlefield" would be a bad choice because the cannon at the level's start can't be used.

The Princess's Secret Slide:

This is one of the more fun secret stars. To get it, start on the giant sun rug in the castle's main entrance. Head up the main stair case and turn right. Go through the door and you'll be in a tower with stain glassed windows. Jump through the window on your right. Now, slide down the slide and get the secret star at the bottom! Its in the box, in case you didn't know.

The Princess's Secret Slide Time Star:

Of course, theres a secret to this secret star. If you can reach the bottom with somwhere around 23 seconds, you'll get a special time star that you wouldn't normally get. You'll have to do the slide at least twice to get both of the secret stars.

Tower of the Wing Cap:

Getting here is pretty easy. First get 10 stars. Now, start at the sun rug near the entrance to the castle. Notice anything? Look into the light! The game will then tell you how to unlock all the winged caps. Don't go towards the tower! First you might want the castle secret star. Pull up with your nifty new winged cap and turn right until you see the coin trail. Follow it until you reach a coin ring with a red coin in the center. Get all these red coins on this trail and a secret star will appear on the tower. Once you land on the tower, press the red switch and read what it tells you. Now grab that star. Grab the star SECOND. If you don't, you'll have to come back and hit the switch.

The Secret Aquarium:

Starting at the sun rug in the main entrance, turn right and head to the door at the far wall. Go into the door and turn right. Look up, and you'll see a hole in the wall. Jump in to enter this secret level.

There are 8 red coins. Collect them all and the star will appear in the center of the stage. 4 of the coins are half way up from the botton of the aquarium and then along the walls. 1 for each wall. They are in the center of coin rings. The next 4 are on the bottom, in the cornors. They aren't too hard to find.

Slip and Slide - Cool, Cool Mountain

Halfway down the slide, theres a line of coins. If you follow that line of coins through the wall at the turn, you'll enter a secret passage that gets you down safer and faster. This doesn't work during the race, you're called a cheater.

Drain the Moat:

To drain the moat, start in the basement. When you see the flaming portrait, turn right and don't head towards it. Make a sharp right, you'll see a brown door. Go through it. Theres a pool of water in the center of a room. Swim through it until you reach the other side. When you come up, you'll see 2 stone pillars submerged in water. Ground pound them both and the moat will drain.

Vanish Cap Under the Moat:

This is the large hole at the bottom of the moat. You must have drained the moat to get in. There are 8 red coins here. 4 of these coins are on the slide at the start. To make sure you get them all, use /\C to look down at the platforms and then jump to the ones with the red coins. You can't go back up if you miss one.

The rest of the coins are on the moving platforms. Be careful, if you fall off you have to start the level over. You won't lose a life though. Don't forget the platforms flip at the top. The final red coin is next to the blue button.

Press the blue switch and read what it tells you about your new cap. Grab the cap, and run throught he bars to get to your star.

"Shhhh, I'm hunting Wabbit":

In the basement you'll see a rabbit running around. Catch the rabbit and you'll get a star.

"Yooooshi!":

Notice the cannon outside the castle next to the lake? If you collect all 120 stars, the cannon will open. Use the cannon to shoot to the castle roof. Run around to the other side of the roof and you'll see yoshi and a flight cap box. Talk to yoshi, and he'll give you a message from the Nintendo team. The nintendo team then gives you a bonus for beating the game. You get 100 lives and a special triple jump. Now you can have as much fun as you want and not have to worry about getting a game over!
