Toad Dies Horrible Death
Toad died earlier today. To those who are Mario fans, do not fret, this
is not Toad who helps you a whole lot, it's just a random Toad, and
since all Toads are named Toad, it's understandable that you could get
him confused with another Toad. He died at not-nighttime because, as you
should know, it is never nighttime in Toad Town. He died because just a
week ago, Mario just returned from an epic quest to rescue a certain
Princess Peach who was kidnapped earlier that day. When he got back,
Mario was in pain and therefore needed a mushroom. Unfortunately, Mario
tried to eat Toad instead.
Toad fortunately survived the bite by shouting at Mario, but it turns
out that he had a raccoon power up active. Unfortunately, it was an
infected raccoon power up, and Mario gave Toad a case of rabies which
ended up leading to his death.
It is not known why Mario was not able to distinguish a Toad from a
Mushroom yet. Some say that it is because Mario became delusional due to
starvation. Others say that over the years, Mario's eyesight has gotten
worse and needs glasses, but has been refusing to wear them because, "It
will change my whole appearance, dude. People just won't love me
anymore..." His eye doctor refuses to comment on the matter.
Mario is not being held any charges for the Toad's death. This is
believed to be because the Toad, being a NPC, has very little care for
him and also because if Mario were to have charges against him, he may
not be able to save the citizens of Mushroom Kingdom from their certain
doom.
Toad's funeral will be Tuesday. Toad had a pixel donor tattoo and
therefore his pixels will be sent to the Toad Hospital to be given to
hospitalized toads. E. Gadd is still trying to convince the hospital to
allow him to use the pixels for his new inventions. The Toad Hospital's
Manager reportedly said, "The toads have tattoos for donating them to
us. If you want to take their pixels, then make them get tattoos for
that. These pixels are for health, not for destruction."
