Getting Cards
Before you can play the CCG (Clan Card Game), you need to get cards! To get cards, you first have to
make an account on the forum and then go to the shop and buy some with Mushrupees. There are multiple ways
to get Mushrupees:
- Joining the forums gives you 50 Mushrupees to start out with. You ARE NOT allowed to create multiple
accounts just to get Mushrupees.
- Posting gives you 1 Mushrupee for each post and 2 for each topic you make. Do not flood the forums
for Mushrupees or you will be banned. We would like to keep the forums there for their primary purpose:
discussion.
- Submissions also give you Mushrupees. For guidelines on submissions, go to
Support BLW. Here are the amount of Mushrupees more specifically:
- Fan Fiction: 40 Mushrupees
- Fan Art: 40 Mushrupees
- Game Reviews: 40 Mushrupees
- Lost News: 40 Mushrupees
- Articles: 50 Mushrupees
- Setting up a shop is another way. In the shop section, you can make your own shop in which
people donate you Mushrupees to do "something." That something is up to you, but some ideas would
be having people commission art, userbars, avatars, or other things created by you.

Starting a Game
All games should be posted in the Clan Card Game section on the Forums. When you post, set up any changed
rules you intend on playing with (which will be discussed later). Post the cards like this:
Attacking:
Waiting:
Terrain:
Attacking creatures are the creatures engaged in battle with the other person's attacking creatures. Only two creatures can
be in the attacking slots at a time. Waiting creatures
are the creatures that will take the place of the attacking creatures when they die or you switch them.
You don't have to post which items and equipment you are using. You can use them whenever you want (as long as they
follow the rank limit).
Normal Rank Limits for Normal 1 vs. 1
- Creatures (max total of 6, min of 1)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-2
- Common cards: 1-6
- Equipment (max total of 3, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-2
- Common cards: 0-3
- Items (max total of 4, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-2
- Common cards: 0-4
- Terrain (max total of 1, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-1
- Common cards: 0-1
*NOTE* Newbies to the game may want to modify these rules slightly so more experienced players don't
take advantage of their lack of cards. For instance, if you only have 3 common creatures, you may want to
create a battle that the opponent may only use 3 common creatures. Rule changing can also go the other way if
players want longer, more tactical battles. For instance, you may allow 2 rare cards instead of one.
Taking Your Turn
You take a turn for each one of your creatures. Overall, the creature with the greatest speed goes first, the
second greatest second, and so on. If there is a tie between two speeds, then they take turns going first and second.
Turning your turn you can do one of several things:
- Do a regular attack which means you do damage to a creature with the attacking power of a creature (no added effects)
- Perform a special attack which are the orange numbers on a creature card
- Equip equipment to a creature
- Use an item
- Switch with a creature in Waiting
- Skip your turn
Equipment and Items
Equipment and Items are hidden until in your inventory until you use them. Other users may see which equipment
and items you have, but they don't know which one you will use necessarily. The cards you use have to fit the
rank limits even if you are not posting them ahead of time. For instance, if I was to use a Rare equipment on a
creature, then I could only use an Uncommon or Common equipment later (if normal rules are in place).
Equipment is attached to a creature and the creature gains any affects on the equipment. If the creature with
the equipment dies, you may reattach it to another creature at the cost of another turn. Items can only be used once
per game however.
Winning the Game
The game ends when one, or both players' creatures all have 0 Health left. The remaining player is the victor. If
both players lose all their creatures at the same time, then it is a draw.
Status Conditions
Some special attacks inflict special status conditions which are:
- Healthy: Restores 4 Health each turn
- Hidden: All attacks miss a creature for a certain amount of turns.
- Sleeping: The creature cannot act for an indicated number of turns.
- Burned: The creature loses 3 Health each turn (inflicting Frozen status cures it).
- Poisoned: The creature loses 5 Health each turn if it has over half of its
health left. If it has under half, then it loses 1 Health each turn.
- Immobilized: The creature cannot act for an indicated number of turns.
- Paralysis: The creature goes last every turn.
- Frozen: The creature cannot act for an indicated number of turns (inflicting Burn status cures it)
Normal Triple+ Battles
Three or more people may participate in a battle, but the suggested limits will change:
- Creatures (max total of 4, min of 1)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-2
- Common cards: 1-4
- Equipment (max total of 2, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-1
- Common cards: 0-2
- Items (max total of 3, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-1
- Common cards: 0-3
- Terrain (max total of 1, min of 0)
- Rare cards: 0-1
- Uncommon cards: 0-1
- Common cards: 0-1
You can also set up teams, but that will be indicated by the creator of a battle.
"Doubling" Cards
This refers to using two of the same card. You may only do this if you own two of the card. Keep in mind
that tripling and so on is against the rules; you can only double. People would be able to spam good cards and that wouldn't be fun. The only exception
would be cards with abilities like "Population" in which you would only need to buy one of the card anyways to have it
take multiple creature places.
